Had a great sleep before I had to start my trip to Houston. Very hospitable staff, good breakfast options more than what average hotels have, good clean rooms, comfortable beds, ample in room amenities. I would definitely come back again

This past weekend I traveled to Houston, TX to visit family. There was a track and field national going on in the area I usually stay so the alot of the hotels were booked. I rented a room at Camelot because it was late an appeared to be a decent hotel around 8pm. It was honestly a nightmare the bathtub had dead roaches in it. Beside the fridge on the tables full of dead roaches. I pulled the covers back a roach running under the covers, the sheets were dirty and cigarette ashes were everywhere. When I called the front desk her response was "Why I waited an hour later to complain" and then refused to come clean the room. Needless to say I wasted $65 but I'm sure had I not left I would of needed a shot the next day.

I have stayed here 3 separate tines this year. The rooms are clean, well appointed, painted, and furnished. The cover sheets were too thin for my tastes but then they were probably easier to wash. They did not provide any coffee in your room if you are into that sort of thing. Each room had an iron and ironing board, refrigerator, and microwave. WIfi was present but you need the password from the front desk. One room had fuzzy TV reception.

We have tried to check if the reservation went through since we have booked a reservation with an online travel agency. The manager didn't even bothered to check on their system or listings and just told us that they do not have rooms. We managed to arrange a refund from our prepaid bookings and have to look for any other hotels instead. What a junk!

Went for just a one-night, too tired to drive, sort of thing. First of all, right when you walk in, the room hits you with a crazy colorful mural of jaguars and jungles.. the ceiling is painted like a sky.. a built in black light by the bed, and the said "sky" turns into a galaxy when all other lights are off. The hardcore "adult entertainment" was a bit much, on channels 3 and 4 of all channels.. but we had an overall good experience. The "wake-up call" was a bit too harsh, I must say.. The deadbolts have been removed, and the manager will literally come in, while you're in bed and kick you out.. kind of awkward. The bed was extremely comfortable, the TV was super nice, and it had a fridge/microwave/dvd player/cd player.
